Dalle ultime dichiarazioni rilasciate da Tim Cook, sembra che Apple Pay non arriverà in Italia almeno fino alla metà del 2016, mentre il servizio di pagamento mobile si sta espandendo sempre di più negli Stati Uniti.
In questo ultimo periodo, decine di nuove banche hanno aggiunto il supporto ad Apple Pay negli Stati Uniti, tra nomi più o meno importanti. Ecco la lista delle nuove banche che si aggiungono alle circa 550 già supportate da Apple Pay:
